Traps, baits, and other conventional methods seemed to address the symptoms but never the cause. The mice kept returning, leaving him puzzled and frustrated.

Determined to find the root of the problem, Tony set out to inspect every corner of his home. Using his building knowledge, he identified something most homeowners overlook: the old cast iron air bricks in his property. While air bricks are essential for ventilation, they also provided an open invitation for mice to scurry inside.

A Simple Yet Ingenious Solution

Armed with this new insight, Tony decided to take action. He covered the front and rear air bricks with mesh as a temporary fix—and to his delight, the mice problem stopped entirely. What seemed like a simple adjustment proved to be highly effective. It was a lightbulb moment for Tony. He realised that this practical solution could benefit countless others dealing with the same problem.

And so, MouseMesh was born.

Tony’s journey from idea to business began modestly. With the help of his son, he started crafting the first MouseMesh products in their shed.
